Laboratory Technician I at Experis

Our client, Chemical Industry is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Chemical department supporting. The ideal candidate will have Laboratory experience, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Laboratory Technician

Location:Delaware, OH

Pay Range: $17 - $20/hr on W2

Shift : 3p-11p, 2nd shift

Description:
As a Laboratory Technician working onsite in our production support QC Labs in Delaware, OH, you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory operations in quality assurance and research settings. In the QC team, you will validate raw material and finished good samples, identify result abnormalities, work to mitigate risk of defective material, and aid in the support of our continuous improvement and project initiatives. Laboratory technicians will be agile learners, results driven, and collaborative in their work within the QC team and across multiple functional groups.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering preferred
• 1 year of academic or professional laboratory experience and proven ability to accurately apply laboratory methods
• Ability to work weekends as dictated by business need
• Ability to work additional overtime as determined by business and project needs.
