Laboratory Technician at Clinical Management Consultants

This 200+ bed short term acute care facility is located in Northeastern Texas, and offers a wide range of medical services, including: a 24/7 emergency department, inpatient and outpatient surgery, an inpatient rehabilitation unit, a medical/surgical critical care unit, a full-service laboratory, radiology and diagnostic imaging services, women’s health services, pediatric care, wound care, cardiology services, and an outpatient health clinic. This hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center, a dedicated Trauma Center, and has received a Primary Stroke Care designation from The Joint Commission. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for testing specimens and reporting results in this full-service laboratory, conducting hematology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology, pathology, and point-of-care testing. The Lab Technician will conduct testing according to current protocols and procedures in order to maintain a high standard of patient care. The Laboratory Technician will have the wonderful opportunity to utilize their knowledge and experience to maintain autonomy in the laboratory, working under minimal supervision of the Laboratory Tech Manager.

This facility is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician with his/her Associates Degree in Medical Technology, preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field. Greater than 2 years of hospital experience as a Laboratory Technician is required for this role. Additionally, a Medical Technologist certification is required.
