Volt is looking for a qualified Laboratory QC Analyst for our client located in Carpinteria CA. In this role you will conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished formulations according to standard operating procedures
Laboratory QC Analyst Duties:
- Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished formulations according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform analyses, including biochemical and/or chemical analyses of products, analysis of raw materials, in-process items and finished products to ensure stability according to established operating procedures.
- Compile data for documentation of test procedures that may include biochemical and chemical assays, stability program testing and formulation studies.
- Calibrate and maintain lab equipment.
- Participate in the preparation of investigations, summaries and reports. May develop testing methods.
- Review data obtained for compliance to specifications and reports abnormalities.
- Revise and updates standard operating procedures as needed.
- May perform special projects on analytical and instrument problem-solving.
- Possess theoretical or technical knowledge typically acquired through higher education.
- Previous experience working in a QC lab environment. Experience can be on the job or experience gained through education.
- Ability to update and maintain detailed documents and data.
- Knowledge of Immunology or Biology. Experience may be on the job, or from your education.
- Position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher, in a relatable field.
