HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AS A VITAL LEADER OF OUR TEAM
As the Laboratory General Manager at Adamson Analytical Laboratories, you will step into a dynamic role where each day brings new challenges and opportunities. You will lead the laboratory operations while ensuring compliance with regulations; manage and empower an innovative, dedicated team of collaborative scientists; and strive for excellence in a forward-thinking environment. Other tasks include:
- Develop annual budget and evaluate performance to budget
- Maintain and meet the highest standards in quality and regulatory compliance and work with various regulatory agencies as required.
- Ensure laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies are maintained.
- Evaluates and defines function activities for projects and determines timeline
- Responsible for overseeing procurement of all testing supplies, preventive maintenance of facility equipment, and daily rounds.
- Cultivate workplace culture and recognize employees
SCHEDULE
This Monday - Friday position offers a structured schedule, allowing you to balance work and personal life while making a meaningful impact in the biotech industry as a Laboratory General Manager.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED TO EXCEL IN THIS POSITION
To succeedas a Laboratory General Manager at Adamson Analytical Laboratories, you will need a blend of laboratory management experience and leadership skills such as:
- Master's degree in chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, etc. or bachelor's with relevant work experience.
- Prior laboratory management experience (3 years min.)
- Strong business understanding of lab operations
- Budget management and P&L evaluation skills
- Lab workflow knowledge
- Strong focus on quality assurance and employee relations
- Experience with FDA/EPA regulations and/or ISO17025 accreditation requirements
- Excellent communication skills and solid technology proficiency (Microsoft products)
WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?
This position offers a competitive salary between $125,000 to $140,000 plus an annualbonus, rewarding your proven expertise and dedication to obtaining annual targets.
