Laboratory Director - General Surgical Pathology - Staff Icons

We are seeking a General Pathologist for our Laboratory.

Qualifications
AP/CP certification
Complete work (S, FN, C, A) in a timely and fiscal fashion
Participate in evening and weekend call rotations
Participate in holiday call rotations
Present at tumor boards (breast, general, neuro, lung)
Participate in hospital committee(s)
Participate in the daily procedures (frozens, EBUS, CT/US)
Medical directorship at surrounding hospitals/clinics
Cover on site procedures

Participate in the autopsy rotation (if this continues)
Participate in education of medical students and residents
Cover for each other, when needed
Gross when needed
Actively participate in monthly departmental meetings (QA, etc)
Be actively involved in the clinical laboratory
Perform peripheral smear reviews
Perform evaluation of possible transfusion reactions
