As a Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney, you will:
1. Handle a broad range of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, wrongful termination suits, and union-related issues.
2. Represent clients in court, demonstrating exceptional courtroom demeanor and litigation skills.
3. Conduct thorough case analysis, develop case strategies, and prepare compelling arguments.
4. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
5. Provide legal advice to clients on labor and employment law issues, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
6. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, striving for the most favorable outcome.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of California labor and employment laws, court decisions, and trends.
8. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the highest level of client service.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. 2-8 years of labor and employment litigation experience.
3. Active membership in the California State Bar.
4. Proven courtroom experience, with a record of successful outcomes.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
9. The ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet deadlines.
10. A client-focused approach, with a commitment to providing top-quality legal service.
