Labor & Employment Attorney - Round Hill Search

A boutique law firm in Pleasanton, California, seeks a Labor & Employment Attorney with 7-10 years of experience to join their team. This role involves handling complex labor and employment cases, emphasizing wage & hour, discrimination, and whistleblower claims. Candidates with trial experience and a demonstrated ability to mentor junior associates are preferred. Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in various labor and employment matters, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation
• Manage cases involving wage & hour disputes, discrimination claims, and whistleblower actions
• Oversee all aspects of case management, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
• Provide counsel on employment law compliance, policies, and best practices
• Collaborate with clients to develop effective legal strategies
• Mentor and support junior associates, fostering their professional development
• Advocate for clients in court, administrative hearings, and settlement negotiations

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in California
• 7-10 years of experience in labor and employment law
• Experience with wage & hour, discrimination, and whistleblower claims is required
• Trial experience preferred
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills to support junior attorneys
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines
