The Labor and Employment team at this firm helps clients navigate the ever-changing complexities of federal and state Labor and Employment Law. Serving as trusted counselors and skilled advocates for our clients, and provide comprehensive counseling and litigation services to employers across the state.

Role Overview

• Working closely with clients to develop comprehensive, practical solutions for all types of employment-related matters, including:
• Policies and procedures, employee handbooks, employment contracts, and restrictive covenants
• Conducting training for employees, management and human resources departments.Including training for executives, managers, and supervisors on managing discipline, terminations, leaves, and requests for accommodations
• Employment litigation and dispute resolution
• Investigating discrimination and harassment complaints
• Functioning as in-house labor and employment counsel
• Labor-management relations
• Union election campaigns, negotiating collective bargaining agreements
• Grievances and arbitrations
• Reductions in force and WARN Act notifications

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Labor and Employment Law.
• Candidates will have strong academic skills proven track record in drafting documents, great communication skills.
• $250,000+ portable business in labor and employment.
