- Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including but not limited to, issues related to Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and other relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise on potential legal risks and recommend effective strategies for managing those risks.
- Represent the organization in labor arbitrations, mediations, and litigation, if necessary.
- Draft, review, and revise various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures, to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws.
- Collaborate closely with the Human Resources department to develop and implement effective labor and employment policies and procedures.
Job Details
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
- Must be admitted to the Ohio Bar.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of labor and employment laws and regulations, including Title VII, ADA, and FMLA.
- Proven experience in handling labor arbitrations, mediations, and litigation.
