Our client is actively recruiting for a labor & employment attorney for their offices in Cumming, Georgia. This is an exciting career opportunity with a well-respected boutique law firm that exclusively represents local and state governmental entities on a variety of legal matters including condemnation and eminent domain, code enforcement, torts, election law, and environmental enforcement, insurance defense, personal injury and more.
The partners are seeking an attorney with specialized experience defending businesses and individuals in labor & employment litigation. The incoming attorney provide counsel to the firm's institutional clients and be trusted to independently develop case strategies for a variety of employment and labor law matters including wrongful termination, discrimination and EEOC complaints, wage and hour disputes, and more . Interested candidates should be comfortable handling all stages of litigation (law and motion, depositions, discovery, legal research etc.) and have a strong career interest in labor & employment law. Our client offers a collegial environment built on mentorship and collaboration where professional growth is possible and encouraged.

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients on labor and employment matters
- Defend government entities in employment law cases, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination claims.
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment issues.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality legal services to clients.
