We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Labor Compliance Coordinator to join our team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to all labor compliance laws and regulations. This role will involve working closely with various departments within the company to ensure that all labor practices are in line with regulatory requirements. The candidate will also be responsible for conducting audits, managing files, and reviewing prevailing wage rates. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive labor compliance program to ensure the company's adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
2. Conduct regular audits of labor practices to identify potential compliance issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
3. Review and manage all documentation related to labor compliance, including prevailing wage rates, employee classifications, and hours worked.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for all labor compliance inquiries and investigations.
5. Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote labor compliance.
6. Conduct regular training sessions for management and staff on labor compliance issues and best practices.
7. Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations and update company policies and procedures accordingly.
8. Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date files on all labor compliance matters.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in labor compliance, preferably in the construction industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including prevailing wage rates.
4. Strong auditing and file management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. High level of professionalism and integrity.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
10. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification is a plus.
