Our company is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Labor Compliance Coordinator to join our vibrant team in the construction industry. This role involves ensuring the adherence to labor laws, regulations, and standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing contracts, coordinating with subcontractors, managing risks, and ensuring prevailing wage compliance. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where teamwork and collaboration are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of labor compliance, including certified payroll, prevailing wage compliance, and labor law adherence.
2. Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure all labor compliance requirements are met.
3. Review and manage contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
4. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential labor-related issues.
5. Maintain and organize labor compliance files, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
6. Communicate effectively with various departments, subcontractors, and external agencies regarding labor compliance matters.
7. Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
8. Develop and implement labor compliance training programs for employees and subcontractors.
9. Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations, and ensure the company's practices are in line with them.
10. Resolve labor compliance issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in certified payroll, labor compliance, contract management, and prevailing wage compliance.
3. Excellent knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
4. Strong experience in risk management and auditing.
5. Exceptional file management skills, with the ability to maintain and organize large volumes of data.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve labor compliance issues effectively.
8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
9. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
