Lab Technician from Elgen Staffing

Our client, a nationwide provider of commercial plastic and polymers, has an immediate need for an experienced Lab Technician, to join their winning team in Evansville.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate PRQS from Fishbowl and manually
• Generate Lab Request
• Perform all required lab testing
• Complete all associated paperwork
• Track retains and Quality data through Lab Log entries
• Operate injection molding machines
• Recognizes the need for additional testing to help determine type of material, etc.
• Adjust batches for color
• Weigh pigments
• Blend material
• General housekeeping
• Perform other duties as requested

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Minimum of 1 year production or lab experience or 2 year college degree
