About the Job
Primary Talent Partners has a new 3-month FT contract opening for an entry level lab technician role with a large pharmaceutical client of ours. The role will be in the Coralville, IA area, and be third shift hours.
Pay: $18.50 - $20.50/hr based on experience
Schedule: M to Th, 8 pm - 6:30 am
Description:
The Technician I (Chemical) efficiently produces high quality materials for use in IDT’s production labs.
Essential Functions:
High school diploma required

Description:
The Technician I (Chemical) efficiently produces high quality materials for use in IDT’s production labs.
Essential Functions:
- Monitors inventory of the group effectively, utilizing the ERP system.
- Participates in customer and regulatory audits as necessary.
- Maintains accurate and detailed product, process, instrument and training records.
- Prepares materials according to documented procedures using standard lab equipment
- Adheres to all departmental protocols, rules, contamination controls, and safety procedures and understands the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001.
High school diploma required
Associate’s degree preferred

- Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.
- Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints or other drawings.
- Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
- Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.
- Includes Machine Operator, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician roles.
