The Tower Climber/Lead Position works under the direction of Director of Safety and Project Managers and is responsible for the quality of work and safety of the crew on the tower top.

General Statement

This position is responsible for installing, replacing, testing, and maintaining cellular equipment and components.

Essential Responsibilities

• Install, replace, test, and maintain equipment on tall structures, up to 500 ft. in the air
• Travel with assigned crew to job locations
• Tower inspection
• Supervise crew members on the job site
• Report job site incidents timely, including injury and performance issues

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities to perform duties effectively

• Comfortable working on tall structures
• Basic mechanical skills and proper use of hand tools
• Travel up to 80% of the work week, overtime may be required
• Maintain regular attendance and report to work with punctuality every day
• Follow direction from leadership, and also work with independent judgment
• Pass and maintain company and state certifications, upon hire and as required by regulations, including DOT
• Communicate instructions and delegate necessary tasks

Required Education and Experience

• Prior tower technician experience required
• Must meet all employment related training requirements, training upon hire.

Compensation details: 27-30 Hourly Wage
