[Job Summary]
A Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance system, and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
[Job Description]
1. Oversee equipment modifications for process changes and new models.
2. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
3. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
4. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
5. Documents and controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
6. Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify manufacturing and testing equipment to improve systems uptime and reliability.
7. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
8. Notify supervisor or Quality Personnel of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
9. Performing a variety of routine maintenance tasks

11. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned

Excellent reading, organizational, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast- paced production manufacturing environment and meet deadlines.
Able to work with minimal supervision and be a team player.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Problem-solving skills
Ability to work quickly under pressure
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing specifications or work instructions
Ability to work occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings
[Qualifications]
Fluency in Korean language required.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field, or an equivalent number of years of production maintenance experience.
Work Experience Requirements
Must have at least 2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment. Prior experience working in a distribution environment is preferred.
Other Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States or have the ability to obtain authorization.
Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time
Must pass a physical exam.
