About the Job
Kalman & Company’s Business Analytics team is seeking motivated, experienced professionals to join our growing team of cost analysts serving Federal and DoD clients. As part of our team, you’ll provide our Government clients with strategic programming, planning, and advisory support services. This position will be supporting Fort Meade, MD and onsite work will be required. This position is tied to a contract award targeted for the first quarter of 2025. The salary range is $75K/year-$100K/year.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide Knowledge Management (KM) technical expertise to include content maintenance, recommendations, enhancements, backup/recovery, and data integrity.
- Serve as technical point of contact for all KM issues and provide DoD 365 SharePoint content administration to ensure all content is stored in accordance with data governance and organizational requirements.
- Develop continuity of operation plans, standard operation procedures, and training material.
- Manage content and workflow and educate front-end users on the use of the KM System.
- Develop and maintain the customer presence in multiple online forums, which include SharePoint and other electronic repositories.
- Review KM pages and provide feedback and recommendations on pages to allow for a unified presence.
- Publish site content and manage site layout, structure, content, site recycle bin, site features, and analytics.
- Create, modify, and delete pages, lists and libraries, sub-sites, and workspaces required to meet customer needs.
- Contribute to the management and updating of SharePoint repositories for all project materials and archival documentation including requirements documents, resource documents, and schedules.
- Maintain and upgrade systems to support user experience and continuous improvements.
- Analyze tools and make recommendation for improvement and integration with other tools.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- US Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g., IT management, computer programming, etc.)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Knowledge Management for DoD and Federal customers.

- Expertise in Microsoft SharePoint administration, including creating, maintaining, and optimizing document libraries, workflows, and team sites.
- Strong knowledge of data repositories, with the ability to design and manage centralized knowledge systems that ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and sharing of critical information.
- Experience in developing and maintaining custom dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel, integrating data visualization to support decision-making and reporting.
- Skills in data management, including data organization, version control, and access permissions to ensure data accuracy and security.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing knowledge-sharing frameworks that align with organizational goals, fostering collaboration across teams.
- Ability to analyze and refine processes for knowledge capture and dissemination, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to train and support staff in using knowledge management systems and tools.
Preferred:
- Secret Clearance
- Familiarity with automation tools in SharePoint, such as Power Automate, to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Experience integrating SharePoint with other enterprise tools and systems for seamless knowledge management.
- Certification in Microsoft SharePoint or a related knowledge management discipline.
