We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Knowledge Management and Innovation Specialist to join our team in the Legal industry. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for managing and improving our knowledge management systems, fostering innovation, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of our organization. You will work closely with our legal team to ensure that our knowledge resources are up-to-date, accurate, and accessible. This role requires a high level of creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of knowledge management principles.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage knowledge management systems to support the legal team's needs.
2. Foster an environment of innovation and continuous learning within the organization.
3. Maintain and update deal sheets, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
4. Collaborate with the legal team to identify knowledge gaps and develop strategies to fill them.
5. Contribute to the strategic direction of the organization by introducing innovative ideas and approaches.
6. Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and workshops to promote a culture of learning and innovation.
7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management systems and make necessary improvements.
8. Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in knowledge management and innovation, and incorporate relevant ideas into our practices.
Qualifications:
JD from accredited law school required.
1. BA, BS, or equivalent undergraduate degree is required.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in knowledge management and innovation, preferably within the legal industry.
3. Strong drafting skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documents.
4. Experience maintaining deal sheets and other knowledge management resources.
5. Proven ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
6. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and workshops.
8. Knowledge of the latest trends and developments in knowledge management and innovation.
9. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
10. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
