The Knowledge Management (KM) Technology Specialist is responsible for assisting KM Technology product owners with the development, deployment, and documentation for Foundation, Power BI and Smartsheet (the KM Technology tools of primary focus for this role). Under the direction of the Manager of KM Technology, the Specialist will work collaboratively with internal departments and external vendors for seamless and accurate configurations, testing, deployment, and on-going enhancements of the tools KM Technology supports. The Specialist will support the Manager of KM Technology in creating drafts of documentation and help maintain the team’s knowledge base for the products this role will support, as well as monitor product email inbox and provide timely and thoughtful responses/solutions to end-user requests.
Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Able to work collaboratively with members of the KM Technology team to configure solutions, build templates and reports, test, and troubleshoot the products KM Technology supports, including but not limited to, Foundation, Power BI, and Smartsheet.
- Assist with maintaining existing documentation and update as needed the KM Technology shared knowledge base for products this role supports.
- Test new and/or updated integrations, patches, and upgrades to support products.
- Assist with building solutions, data integrations, updates, and maintenance of KM Technology products.
- Assist with operating procedures, such as answering questions, technical issues, as well as testing to ensure quality assurance measures are met, and user acceptance testing is maintained as each relates to KM tools and projects.
- Provide ongoing hands-on support to the firm's KM Tools. Help develop and update FAQs, best practices, and identify and troubleshoot solutions.
- Maintain strong and clear communication with end-users across the firm.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer or information science, marketing technology, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of prior experience in legal preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and working knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Strong written, oral, and proofreading skills, along with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of business support professionals and attorneys, as needed.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service orientation is preferred.
- Must be a team player and eager to support department and firm initiatives.
- Ability to organize, plan and carry out multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred
- Working knowledge of an experience management tool, such as Foundation, including knowing the fundamentals of configurations, forms, templates, and reports within the software.
- Understands data visualization dashboards in a platform such as Excel or Power BI.
- Has insights into project management software, such as Smartsheet.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL is helpful.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
Boston: $63,700 - $92,350
New York City: $66,700 - $96,700
Working Conditions:
This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
