The KM Technology Analyst will be a central part of the team responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of the Firm’s the experience management platform and related systems. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, the primary role of incumbent will support activities related to the Firm’s knowledge management technology, including the experience management platform and related systems. The incumbent supports the efforts to capture and maintain experience information, including client and matter profiles in support of the knowledge management efforts. The KM Technology Analyst is responsible for profiling all new matters upon opening with critical data points including Matter Type, parties and other details drawn from the New Business Intake package; managing the master Matter Type list to ensure consistency across the entire platform; mapping legacy data sets against Foundation profiles for import into the collection; contributing to workflow and reporting development.
Duties and Responsibilities:In coordination with the team’s KM Senior Product Manager and KM Leadership:
- Perform day-to-day maintenance activities to support the experience management platform and related systems
- Perform routine data entry for clients, matters and/or person profiles
- Develop familiarity with the content and configuration of the experience management platform and integrated data sources
- Assist with data integration, import and export projects
- Prepare standard metrics reporting to measure the quality and quantity of data maintained within the experience management platform
- Provide basic end-user support for "how to" questions and technical issues
- Identify opportunities to improve and/or add to the experience management platform and related processes and integration sources
- Update standard configuration documentation and related end-user materials for the experience management platform and related systems

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- A minimum of two years of experience working with practice-related information and processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines and priorities
- Strong writing and proofreading skills
Preferred:
- Familiarity with legal technology such as experience or expertise systems, research tools, work flow systems and/or legal project management or practice management tools
- Basic understanding of law firm structure and business practices, as well as practice-specific terminology
- Knowledge of various external research tools such as Lexis, Westlaw, CapitalIQ, Thomson MonitorSuite and other resources
