Our Kitchen Managers are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Kitchen Manager’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Kitchen Managers lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Kitchen Manager Role:
- Areas of Focus: Training, Food Safety, Pathway Standards/Food Quality, Inventory, Truck
- Tasks: System Adherence, Operational Leadership, and Safe and Quality Food :
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Serves others first, leads like Truett
- Maintains Vision and Mission alignment with the Operator
- At least 95% operational, hands on
- Lead shifts, develop team members and trainers to hit business metrics
- Know each role and each system, and lead them with excellence
- Assist in implementing and refining systems and/or procedures to live out vision and mission
- Training of team members to their next level of expertise
- Multiply yourself by training others
- Know when to delegate and know when to own
- Know how to create long term solutions
- Current on certifications for area of leadership in the restaurant, including food safety and quality control
- Maintaining key metrics of business, determined by Operator
- Attend one-on-one meetings with the Director and/or Operator
- Perform your responsibilities consistently at a level of excellence
- Be the last line of defense on issues that arise, including shift coverage
- Other duties as needed or desired

- Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a huge plus!
- Be able and willing to work Monday through Saturday between 5:45 a.m.-2:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 11:30 p.m., with flexible start and end times
- Saturday Availability
- Must be able to work at least 3 shifts per week (Opens or Closings)
- Must be 18 or older
- Willingness to, on occasion, to flex schedule to cover shifts as needed for business
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Previous leadership experience is required
