Key Responsibilities:
- Culinary Leadership:
- Oversee food preparation and kitchen staff to ensure consistent execution of recipes and standards.
- Develop and execute menus that align with company standards, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
- Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching to ensure professional growth and high morale.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, monitor food costs, and ensure efficient use of resources to meet budgetary goals.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all dishes meet established presentation, taste, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to address guest feedback and continuously improve the dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and inventory management.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting.
- Passion for delivering outstanding culinary experiences and fostering a positive kitchen culture.
Education & Certifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Food Safety Manager Certification (e.g., ServSafe) is highly desirable.
