Kitchen Manager - Department Manager – Grocery Store - Prepared Food Department

Are you a hospitality professional with experience in leading teams and managing operations? Our rapidly growing supermarket company in New Bedford, MA, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our Prepared Food Department.

As the Manager, you will be responsible for the overall health and success of the entire department. You will work closely with the lead chef and other team members to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service, the department is clean and follows protocols, and we achieve our financial goals. Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing team members, purchasing products, maintaining sanitation, and implementing new initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar job position, leading teams, and managing operations.
• Knowledge of the prepared food industry and inventory management
• Strong customer service skills, leadership abilities, and coaching skills
• Ability to work in high-temperature and cold environments, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
