Kitchen Manager:
The Kitchen Manager will be overseeing all food production, oversee day-to-day back of house operations, implementation of store recipes, ordering, and cooking. Resolving issues that occur in kitchen swiftly is a vital role in this position. He/she may also cover any station or position that is needed.
-Manages all BOH staff
-Orders food inventory to keep up with demand
-Menu Development
-Resolves issues in the kitchen quickly without escalation
-Helps prepare food items in different areas
-Keeps the line stocked and prepped
-Aids in training new employees
-Produces final dishes that are to the store's standards for guests
-Maintaining a clean workspace that is safe to prepare food
-Keeping the walk-in and reach in coolers clean and organized
-Keeping dry storage clean and organized
-Taking care of trash and floors
-Delegating duties to BOH staff
-Watching food & labor cost
-Coordinate and supervise all kitchen staff according to food safety standards
-Hiring kitchen staff
-Weekly BOH schedule
-Performing quality control on food leaving the kitchen
-Weekly food inventory
Rum Runners is an exciting new venture located in The East Bank of the Flats. We'll be focused on beachy cocktails, live music and delicious food. Our patio will feature local accoustic acts 3+ days a week while inside we'll be turning it up with live Rock, Reggae and Blues bands.
