Come join the Chick-fil-A Expressway Plaza Leadership Team as a Kitchen Director where you’ll be part of a locally owned and operated restaurant impacting the local community. As a Director, you'll enjoy flexible schedules with Sundays off and a chance to lead and grow in a supportive workplace. All Director positions are actively involved in the daily operations of the restaurant (no positions are limited to administrative functions only).
As a Kitchen Director, you will lead the Heart of the House Team in delivering operational excellence, fostering team members’ growth and delivering a consistent quality customer experience. A Director is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant’s heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Directors are responsible for executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Director’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Directors lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Champion restaurant vision and core values
- Adhere to and uphold all company policies and procedures, including food safety and dress and appearance guidelines
- Effectively manage and lead a team of people while maintaining our operating standards to provide a clean & safe environment, great food, fast and accurate service, all served with genuine hospitality
- Coaching, teaching and training team members on policies and procedures and creating a positive work environment for everyone
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
- Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder
- Working a position through meal parts
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one-year previous restaurant management or leadership experience
- Customer-service oriented
- Be able to connect with and lead a diverse team
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Functions well in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be reliable, hard-worker and team-oriented
- Attention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures are followed
- Available to work Saturdays
Education:
- High School Degree
