Heber Valley Assisted Living is a small home-like Assisted Living facility, a short 20-minute drive up Provo Canyon. We furnish a warm, friendly, and peaceful living environment for our ALII and Memory Care residents while providing a fun, rewarding, team environment for our employees. In the kitchen we provide dietician approved menus for our residents with yummy recipes focused on calories and nutrition as part of the daily love and care we provide for our residents. We are always prepared, and our team works together for optimal senior care. You will LOVE the atmosphere at Heber Valley Assisted Living!
If you love helping people and would love to start in the kitchen and explore becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant, that’s perfect! We offer on-the-job training as well as financial assistance in obtaining your CNA.
If you’ve been given an ‘appeal’ notification from DACS and want to work through it, please come see me – we can work through the appeal process together.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing dietician approved meals.
- Assisting residents with caloric intake
- Working with team on snacks and daily activities
- Kitchen and dining room clean up
- Communication with staff on resident needs
Qualifications
- 16 and older, available mornings/afternoons (typical shift 9a-6p)
- First Aid/CPR Certification a plus
- Food Handler’s Permit (required)
- Team player
- Basic computer/tablet skills
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Must be Punctual
- A personable, friendly attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
