Position Overview:
As a Key Account Manager, you will drive incremental sales growth with national retail & eCommerce customers. Develop and implement omni-channel sales and advertising strategies for multi-branded product portfolio. Achieve annual sales goals, engage in new product ideas, give technical product presentations. Role will require working with all departments to ensure profitable sales success with national retail & eCommerce customers.

Essential Functions:
+ Manage $10M+ territory of national retail & eCommerce customers
+ Drive incremental, profitable, sales growth to achieve double digit annual growth targets
+ Grow retail sales while simultaneously ensuring they do not disrupt the rest of the market
+ Create/implement sales and advertising strategy for retail customers
+ Work with marketing to create premium content for eCommerce pages, customer ads, and in-store signage
+ Create and present weekly/monthly reports of market trends and key customer insight.
+ Give technical customer presentations and product trainings
+ Negotiate customer contracts, terms, advertising spend, and annual price adjustments
+ Work with planning, replenishment, and operations to adjust inventory needs & processes to achieve sales targets
+ Work with Product Management to implement new products for retail customers
+ Work with finance and credit to budget advertising spend and reconcile open issues
+ Engage closely with a large team and respectfully drive direction

Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
+ 7+ years of sales experience in marine, outdoor, home improvement, or automotive industry
+ 3+ years of experience selling technical products
+ Highly proficient with Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Proven track record of growing sales with customers
+ Creative problem solving and critical thinking
+ Ability to be flexible and adapt to rapidly changing markets
+ Experience with eCommerce sales strategies
Working Conditions:
+ Normal office working conditions. Typically requires prolonged sitting with consistent computer functionality
+ Ability to communicate information and ideas for others to understand by phone, email, and/or messaging

+ 15-25% travel based on time of year
The anticipated pay range for this position is $82,600- $138,200 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
