We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to provide support as an account manager and technical consulter for a chemical manufacturing plant in Texas, USA.
Position Summary: This role involves sales focusing on nurturing existing customer relationships and identifying further opportunities within their operations. The position requires on-site presence, interacting directly with senior management to act as a trusted partner and consultant.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and cultivate existing customer relationships at their location.
- Identify and capitalize on additional business opportunities within the client's organization.
- Engage directly with senior leadership as a trusted partner and consultant.
- Provide technical guidance, services, and recommendations based on troubleshooting, sampling, auditing, testing, and monitoring activities.
- Utilize strong account management skills to listen to client needs, resolve issues, and deliver effective solutions.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in chemical water treatment or heavy industrial water management systems.
- Proven sales track record with strong account management skills.
- Proven technical abilities (troubleshooting, auditing, testing, running samples, monitoring).
- Experience providing field customer support including technical, operational, and laboratory expertise.
- Experience with at least one or all of the following: boiler units, cooling units, wastewater treatment, and industrial water solutions.
