Job DescriptionWorking with Sales, Regional VPs, Marketing, E-Retail, and Planners to manage Dior’s end-to-end sales efforts, which includes driving account strategies for Macy’s to ensure achievement of sales and shipment goals. This includes annual account budgeting, overseeing the demo headcount and budget, seasonal calendar building, spearheading CRM enhancements, event submission, and project management during KCP and launches, operational and day-to-day administrative tasks.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Analysis & Financial Management
- Evaluate market trends, competitive moves, and changes in rank – help in executing account strategies under planning and Key Account Director supervision.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to ideate on new, innovative, and creative ways to drive retail in store and online (e.g., events, new ways to get products out through CRM, ways to recruit new users, etc.).
Sales Planning and Account Management for Macy’s
- Help maintain promotional calendars to achieve financial targets and capture calendar shifts for the account.
- Own the seasonal set up of all new merchandise.
- Maintain Macy’s relationship by collaborating with key retailer stakeholders consistently to discuss and align on all aspects of sell-in.
- Develop launch and key holiday strategies, mange the communication and visual merchandising execution plan to the Field Sales team to optimize results. (e.g., visual step outs, holiday statements).
- Respond to market trends by analyzing competitor activities and reading trade publications.
- Owner of demo. Responsible planning, budgeting, and managing headcount across the store organization. Work with the RVPs strategy, troubleshoot issues, project budget and actualize monthly.
- Support CRM driving strategies. Manage the submission of My Client Scripts, analyze opportunities and wins, and push new strategies.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and execute launches with Macy’s from beginning to end with a focus on the eventing piece in store. Submit the eventing concepts to retailer for their approval.
Sell-In Responsibilities
- Drive account strategy development for Macy’s and oversee annual/seasonal promotional calendar development.
- Help aid in the sell-in negotiations for Macy’s accounts and Dior Planners.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and key decision-makers at assigned accounts.
- 5+ years of multi-door sales and account management experience with Macy’s
- Experience developing account plans and strategies
- Strong understanding and knowledge of leading beauty and fragrance brands and their competitive positioning
- Strong understanding of operating practices of key Department Store and Specialty retailers
- Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
