Waterstone Resort & Marina, a Curio Collection by Hilton property, managed by Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Bartender to join our team! Our resort is on the Boca Inlet overlooking the Boca Bay. Modern Japanese restaurant, Kasumi is settled within our Heart of Hospitality, the Heart of our Resort. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Opening
- Ensure the bar is set up with appropriate levels of liquor, fruits, mixers, garnishes, wines, sake, glassware, etc.
- Maintaining
- Ensure that the bar area is clean and organized, including handling trash and spills, polishing and sanitation of all bar utensils, glassware, and service areas
- Ensure guests are of legal drinking age as well as monitoring guests for over consumption of alcohol
- Prepare drink orders according to beverage standards, given recipe, and guest preferences
- Organize and prioritize service per appropriate sequence of service
- Effectively prepare guest checks through POS terminal functions and process guest payments by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other tender types
- Engage and interact with guests, ensuring satisfaction
- Closing
- Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
- Perform various other duties as assigned
- Minimum of High School Education
- Minimum of three (3) years in a bartending role in a high-volume bar or restaurant
- Bartending Certification preferred
- Food Handler & Alcohol Awareness Certification preferred, or able to obtain
- Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of Alcohol Compliance. Full knowledge of new drink trends and classic cocktails - sake, wine & Japanese whiskey experience a plus.

- Ability to communicate effectively verbally

- Professional appearance and demeanor, maintaining the high standards of our establishment. Ability to exceed guest expectations and experience
- Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking; must be able to lift, balance, and carry items up to 25 pounds
- Availability
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Technical Skills
- Knowledge of POS systems
