The University of California Irvine's Center for Educational Partnerships (CFEP) in the Office of Educational & Community Partnerships (ECP) creates collaborations that support preparation for and success in higher education. Our focus is on equity and access for all students in order to achieve the University of California's goal of academic excellence. As the University of California's largest academic preparation program, EAOP helps students in underserved schools prepare for college and the work force by completing all UC and California State University admissions requirement, and apply for college and financial aid. Through a series of collaborative strategies that include Academic Enrichment Programs, Academic Advising, Test Preparation, and Parent Engagement; EAOP is positioned to develop the next generation of university scholars.
Responsibilities:Under close supervision of the Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) Assistant Director, uses K-14 academic preparation professional concepts and practices to provide basic information about higher education through workshop presentations to parents and families through the EAOP Parent Academy. Supports EAOP students, collects program data, and assists with campus events.

Required:
- Basic knowledge of academic programs, including curricula and admissions requirements at higher education institutions.
- Basic knowledge of higher education institutions (UC, CSU, CC, etc.), and the ability to explain procedures to youth, parents, and school representatives.
- Basic knowledge of high school graduation and college entrance requirements.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of K-14 education.
- Basic knowledge working with a diverse student population, and sensitivity to culture, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation and socio-economic status.
- Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with school district administrators, school counselors, principals, teachers, and community contacts.
