Sun Mountain Doors is an industry-leading manufacturer of custom wood doors and other architectural millwork products based in Berthoud, Colorado, and we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Systems Administrator (JSA) to join our team. The JSA will report to the Director of Technology, and the role combines system administration, SQL and SSRS programming, and Tier 1 & 2 technical support. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills, capable of managing systems, creating actionable insights from data, and supporting end-users efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
System Administration:
- Manage, monitor, and maintain servers, networks, and cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and security through regular maintenance and updates.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
SQL and SSRS Programming:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and databases.
- Create and maintain SSRS reports for business operations.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and recommend solutions.
Technical Support (Tier 1 and Tier 2):
- Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and system issues, escalating when necessary.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices.
- Document issues and resolutions in the IT help desk system.
- Assist in onboarding and training users on IT systems.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
Required Skills, Experience, Education
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in SQL programming and SSRS report development.
- Strong knowledge of system administration (Windows Server, Active Directory, networking).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Experience with Office 365, Azure, or other cloud services.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and ticketing systems.
