Junior Staff Accountant - Creative Financial Staffing

About the Company:

• Extremely stable non-profit organization in existence over 30 years

• Position is hybrid and located in Staten Island, NY, close to multiple forms of public transportation including the Staten Island Ferry + major buses
• Parking lot available on site
• Large Accounting department with excellent training and tons of room for advancement and upward movement

Responsibilities:

• Assist Senior Accountant with Accounts Payable functions including matching, batching and coding invoices
• Assist with AP process automation including adding ACH information, adding vendors to electronic database, etc.
• Respond to audit requests as needed
• Assist with basic month end closing procedures including bank and account reconciliations as needed

Experience Preferred:

• 2 years or more of Accounting experience
• Non-profit experience a plus
• Intacct knowledge a major plus!
