- Hybrid Schedule: Monday and Friday remote

Your Job as a Junior Staff Accountant:
The Jr. Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting with the daily and monthly accounting functions of Acadia’s Comprehensive Treatment Centers nationwide. Responsible for general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of financial schedules, general ledger accounts and financial statements, such as bank statements, balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules. Prepares, records, analyzes, and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance within accepted accounting policies and principles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cash reconciliations
- Preparation of month-end templates and balance sheet reconciliation
- Help with month-end close tasks
- Tracking required clinical reports
- Reviewing accounts payable batches
- Other ad-hoc projects
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Education, Skills, & Qualifications:
- Accounting experience in general accounting preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data and information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Interpersonal skills include the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels, both internal and external.
- Exercises sound judgement in responding to inquiries and understanding when to route inquiries to the next level.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames.
- Can adapt to frequent priority changes.
- Capable of working within established policies, procedures, and practices prescribed by the organization.
- English sufficient to provide and receive instructions and directions.
