· Consistently maintain high standards of quality, cost, eye appeal and flavor of foods

· Consult with dining service personnel during daily line-ups

· Assist in food delivery, storage and issuing food items

· Check mise en place before service time and inspect presentation of food items to insure that quality standards are met

· Assist with production of daily specials for restaurants

· Make recommendations for maintenance, repair and upkeep of the kitchen and its equipment

. Ability to work all stations in kitchen

. Drive creative process in menu changes and specials

. Basic food costing, scheduling and ordering procedures

· Knowledge and experience of sauté, broiler stations, modern cooking and plate presentation techniques

· 5 years' experience as a cook hotel, resort, preferred

· Strong communication skills, verbal and written

. Minimum of 2 years in a lead line cook or other relevant role

. Serv Safe

· Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
