About the Job
Location Note: This a hybrid role for our Wakefield, MA office.
The Purpose of Your Role:
Looking to join a team where you can make an impact? We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to be part of our development team. The Junior Software Developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, enhancing, and integrating home built custom applications using different technology stacks and connected systems.
The Junior Software Developer will learn and conduct requirement analysis, document technical specifications, test plan, write, review, debugs code, and perform releases.
What you'll bring to Sentinel:
- Experience in agile environments.
- Programming with Typescript, ReactJs, SQL, Terraform and ideally C#.
- Expertise in Content Management Systems, CRM systems and database systems.
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Partner with Business Analysts and peers to build software you are proud of.
- Utilize log aggregation and building dashboards.
- Help convert legacy applications into web based applications.
- Build secure and well-defined API’s.
- Utilize Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Repos and upgrade DevOps processe within Sentinel.

What you need to have:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience with AWS.
- Proficiency in various protocols, standards and data formats (including REST, JSON, XML, OpenAPI, JWT, OAuth or ETL).
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment (2 days in the office).
- Authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
Nice to haves:
- c# experience
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos.
