Job Description
The Junior Payroll Analyst is responsible for all aspects of managing the employee life cycle, including onboarding and offboarding of employees and ensuring that they are paid accurately. Payroll responsibilities include managing salary data, ensuring timesheets are accurate and payroll is run on time. Responsibilities also include supporting other aspects of human resources and leverage data analysis skills to enhance payroll processes and managerial decision-making.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer payroll of all employees in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
- Manage electronic timekeeping and payroll systems.
- Train others on using payroll software programs.
- Oversee managers’ and employees’ verification of timesheets.
- Be the point of contact for all payroll-related information and employee questions.
- Prepare payroll-related reports as needed and requested.
- Resolve any payroll errors efficiently and timely.
- Ensure all employee data is entered accurately into payroll system.
- Use data analytics tools to analyze payroll data, identify trends, produce labor reports and generate actionable insights to improve payroll efficiency.

- Ability to keep department items confidential
- Detailed Oriented with meticulous data entry skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Reliable transportation to periodically visit center locations
- Basic experience with data analytics tools and the ability to interpret and analyze payroll data
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office Suite – Specifically Excel
- Knowledge of legal requirements
- Previous Human Resource and/or payroll processing experience
