About the Job
Our company is looking for a Junior Marketing Manager to assist us in preparing, developing, and executing our marketing strategies, as well as improving our promotional efforts through market research, marketing deliverable development, and campaign performance monitoring.
The position of Junior Marketing Manager is a valued member of our team in all departments. The position is considered entry-level, and training will begin with a thorough overview of basic marketing strategy, direct advertising, promotional techniques, visual merchandising, and consumer market research. After successfully completing each department, an individual is considered a team-lead in the marketing department and advances to an executive Marketing Management position. The entry-level Marketing Manager reports directly to the Executive Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities of a Junior Marketing Manager:
- Assisting with the day-to-day development and expansion of assigned campaigns
- Helping with customer acquisition and retention
- Expertly managing the needs of external customers
- Building strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Sales are increased through retail promotional campaigns.
- Increase brand awareness by participating in local events and using experiential marketing.
- Strategize, execute, and manage with the Brand Ambassador teams.
- Interaction and communication with customers
- Assist with client-specific projects for marketing and advertising associates and senior staff.
Knowledge and skills required for the Junior Marketing Manager:
- 1-2 years of marketing or sales experience or training is preferred, but exceptions can be made for the right candidate.
- It is preferable to have customer service or other people-oriented experience.
- Experience in sales is preferred.
