Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and production processes.
• Review and analyze specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to support the estimating process.
• Maintain and update a database of cost information for materials, equipment, and labor.
• Assist in preparing proposals and tracking project budgets to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Provide basic insights on cost-saving opportunities in manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to team projects and perform other tasks as assigned by the VP of Engineering.
• Other responsibilities requested by VP of Engineering

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and a knack for working with numbers.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings or specifications is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Education Requirements:

• An Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or estimating environment is helpful but not necessary—we’re willing to train the right candidate!

Other Details:

• Work Environment: Combination of office and manufacturing settings.
• Physical Demands: Primarily office work, with occasional light lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime.
• Travel: Minimal local travel may be required.
