 Toll Brothers Mortgage, America's Leading Luxury Lender, seeks college graduates with backgrounds in either business or sales who want to become loan originators in the mortgage industry.

What is the opportunity? As a Junior Loan Officer (Jr. LO) you will be fulfilling necessary support functions while learning how to become a Loan Officer. Jr. LO’s will be reviewing and analyzing live loans and qualifying borrowers for mortgages. Jr. LO’s will receive classroom training and "real world" hands-on experience while working independently to study for an examination to become an NMLS licensed originator. In this role, you will learn the basics of the Mortgage Process, Investor Guidelines, Real Estate, and Compliance as you support a team of licensed loan originators.

What are the primary responsibilities?

• Review applicant’s employment, credit, assets, liabilities and real estate owned while verifying all documentation required for mortgage approval.
• Analyze tax returns and calculate income derived from Schedule C, 1065, 1120-S, and 1120 tax returns.
• Communicate to Loan Officers the status of files after review and provide guidance and recommendations where needed.
• Reviewing investors guidelines/updates on a regular basis to stay current with investor requirements.
• Shadowing experienced Loan Officers and focusing on the development of professional sales skills.
• Preparing for NMLS Safe Act Exam.

Do you have these qualifications?

• Essential:
  • Bachelor’s degree - In lieu of a degree, 3 years of mortgage processing or sales experience is acceptable
  • Minimum 1-5 years previous related experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows environment and strong computer skills
