Junior Interior Designer - STG Design
Austin, TX 78703
About the Job
.LET’S DO THIS…
You’re beginning to grow and thrive in your career and are passionate about enhancing people's lives in the places they gather. You’re creative, and approach design challenges with a willingness to explore lots of ideas. You’re looking for a progressive opportunity; a place where you can hone your skills and truly influence design. You’ve come to the right place; at STG Design, we can make that happen.
WHAT WE NEED…
This role will be a hybrid model and is expected to work in our Austin office 3 days per week.
Our Interiors studio in Austin is seeking a talented Junior Interior Designer to develop design solutions for a variety of projects and coordinate design through all project phases. We need a savvy Junior Interior Designer who gets excited about creating healthy, uplifting environments and who takes pride in design solutions that are specifically tailored to each client. In short, we want a designer as remarkable as we are. We want someone who values diverse perspectives during the design process and views each project as an opportunity to create something unique that connects us as a community. We want a designer who attacks each new challenge with the knowledge that last week’s answer doesn’t fit this week’s question; an influencer who is always seeking to learn more and apply what they’ve learned to make those around them better.
This is exactly the stuff that gets to the heart of our legacy. Built on hard work and pure passion, STG Design has a 40+ year history of delivering award-winning architecture and interior design. We’re building on that for the future, too.

WHAT WE EXPECT…

- Interesting – We want people who can provide unique insight into our clients’ problems and contribute to their solutions in unexpected ways.
- Great communicators – if you can’t spread your message, you can’t deliver results.
- Self-starters – We want people who don’t wait for direction; they find the next task and get started.
- Ready learners – We want people who are excited to add another tool to their repertoire.
- Adaptable – We look for people who find the right context and right solution for the task at hand.
- Tech savvy – Revit, Parametric Modeling, Rhino, and Enscape are all musts.
