Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecasts, providing explanations for variances.
- Data Management:
- Gather and organize financial data from various sources for analysis.
- Maintain and update financial models and databases.
- Support Senior Analysts:
- Provide analytical support to senior financial analysts and management.
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
- Assist in the implementation of best practices and financial controls.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Internship or 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with financial software or ERP systems is a plus.
