About the Job
the firm's energy attorneys represent some of the largest and most well-known stakeholders and participants in the US and international energy markets, including sponsors, developers, arrangers, agents, lenders, institutional and private equity investors and tax equity investors. The team handles matters that arise at every point of the project lifecycle and has extensive experience with all major financing structures in use within the project finance marketplace, including sustainability-linked and green loan principles-aligned structures.
The firm's energy associates are given meaningful, hands-on legal work at every stage of their careers.
Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and experience on financing and/or private M&A transactions. Experience on project and energy financing and/or energy and infrastructure-related M&A transactions is preferred.
The ideal candidate also will also have tax equity and/or IRA credit experience.

A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required. Admission to the New York, District of Columbia Bar, or Texas Bar, active and in good standing, is also required. The anticipated salary range is $225,000 to $250,000. The actual base salary offered will be dependent upon the applicant's experience and qualifications, as well as other job-related factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, geographic location.
