Junior Buyer - Gpac

We are working with a client that is a World Leading Precision Time & Frequency Technology firm in the design, development, and manufacture of high-precision timing, frequency control and synchronization products for satellite and terrestrial applications.  Job description: Multitasking and supporting the materials and purchasing department in all aspects of procurement and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Placing orders
• Expediting
• Vendor RMA's
• Quoting
• Data Entry and Maintenance of quotes
• Vendor Maintenance and Set ups
• Supplier Reports
• Assist in resolving Accounting Issues

Requirements:

• Associate degree in supply chain, Business or related field
• 2+ years of purchasing, supply chain, or related experience in electronics manufacturing environment
• Experience in ERP systems
• Knowledge of MRP Processes
• Knowledge or Experience in AEROSPACE (Required)
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excel and Work Required

Job location: Uniondale, NY - On-Site.

Compensation: $60-$70k (Salary based on Experience)
