About the Job
All Native Group is seeking an Intern to serve in a Junior/Entry Level Business Development Data Analyst to assist in data mining information from multiple repositories. Primary responsibilities will be identifying and developing opportunities for business expansion. Supports the development of customer or market penetration strategies and individual opportunity win strategies, account plans, technology development plans, and partnering strategies. Ensures that the business development strategy is implemented. Maintains extensive knowledge of the current developments in the government marketplace in order to assess the position of company and determines how to improve it. The Junior Business Development Data Analyst will analyze data in order to identify business opportunities and all relevant data related to give ANG a competitive advantage. The successful candidate will analyze data in order to identify patterns and systemic relationships that can be used to predict future contract award trends.
As the Junior/Entry Level Business Development Data Analyst the candidate will be adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for business optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. Candidates must have a proven ability to generate data-driven insights. Candidates must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams that work across multiple time zones and have a passion for discovering market trends and insights from large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
Essential Functions
- Execute data extraction across various databases
- Clean Data and develop data visualizations
- Clearly document and present methodology, parameters, assumptions, and findings to stakeholders
- Responsible for research and analysis to provide decision support and consultation regarding market and industry risks and opportunities.
- Monitors trends, planning scenarios and competitive issues that impact Business Unit/contract strategy and communicates results to strategic and operational planning areas.
- Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for client business needs and collect large structured and unstructured datasets and variables.
Competencies
- Exceptionally strong in utilizing Excel, or other programs, for data visualization.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Power Automate, or PowerBI to build workflow efficiencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands on experience with driving analytic insights.
- Ability and motivation to research business databases for data and information that is advantageous to the growth of business sectors.
- Ability to tackle difficult problems specifically working with unstructured textual data.
- Expected to deliver in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
- Must thrive in satisfying analytic requirements from upper-level leadership.
- Expected to be able to adapt quickly to changing needs across several core areas, including data wrangling, data exploration, data analysis, and data visualization.
- Must have the knowledge and communication skills to articulate trade-offs between analytic techniques, recommend a course of action to clients, and provide effective updates on project outcome uncertainty to leadership.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.
Travel
Travel approximately 5-10%
Experience
- 0-2 Years of experience in business analysis or marketing analytics
- Technical Proficiency: Experience in receiving request formal and informal data request and being able to extract data and develop data visualizations to represent findings.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively with Business Development Executives and Managers, subject matter experts, graphic designers, and other key stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Education
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration) or equivalent experience in data analytics for government contracts.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Experience in technical writing or proposal development for government contractors.
- Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant government procurement guidelines.
- Familiarity with Shipley or similar proposal development methodologies
