About the Job
We are seeking a Junior Assistant Manager who will provide support to the customer service team in our organization. This position will include involvement with sales support action items as needed to ensure that a high standard of service and customer satisfaction are maintained. We, of course, provide comprehensive training and mentorship to any employee joining our team. All candidates must be excellent communicators and able to execute themselves professionally at all times.
Tasks and Responsibilities of a Junior Assistant Manager:
- Maintain a positive representation of the company and associated brands at all times
- Provide and ensure quality service to external customers
- Answer all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Utilizing training materials in a meaningful way that ensures class graduates have a smooth transition into successful, professional Customer Service / Customer Retention positions
- Interact with customers daily to inform them of client products and services
- Process orders and data entry with high-level accuracy
- Take initiative and resolve escalations or complaints
- Participation in role-play scenarios, product knowledge, and psychology of customer service behavior training
- Creating a positive, fun, and motivating environment to enhance employee performance and customer satisfaction
- Monitor individual progress to provide coaching opportunities and to understand employee developmental needs
- Perform a needs assessment of the customer and recommend products and services or pass along consumer leads to the sales department depending on the level of expertise

Requirements of a Junior Assistant Manager:
- Previous customer service and sales experience is a plus
- Must be organized
- Must be personable and comfortable interacting with customers daily
- Must have great attention to detail
- Must be a team player
- Must have strong communication skills
Qualifications:
- Degree preferred
- Desire to participate in professional development and take on new responsibilities
- Ability to perform at a high-octane level in a quick-moving environment
- Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
