In this role, you'll be a key member of the team working in a wide range of GL functions. The successful candidate will have a "roll-up-the-sleeves'' attitude, be able to multitask and be willing to learn and thrive in a very fast-paced startup environment.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Involved in the month-end and quarter-end process for our global close process by performing accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis, in compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and SOX. + Work cross-functionally and across geo/international locations for close process, accuracy, and timing. + Identify and implement process improvements to reduce the time to close and improve the accuracy of underlying accounting records. + Partner with cross-functional teams regularly to identify areas for improvement and solve problems. + Lead accounting projects involving process improvement and system automation, etc. + Build and maintain business relationships with internal and external partners to proactively identify, research, and resolve issues. + Support the preparation of PBCs and support for annual audits and quarterly reviews by the external auditors. + Assist in ad hoc analysis and projects as required. **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** + Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. CPA desired. + 2+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in public accounting is preferred. + Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls. + Ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret meaningful and insightful narratives from quantitative and qualitative data. + Impeccable attention to detail. + Ability to meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment; demonstrates a sense of urgency and should be results-driven. + Ability to challenge the status quo to build gain efficiencies and improve outcomes. + Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization. + Great team player. + Experience working with NetSuite preferred. + Advanced Excel skills are required.
