Are you a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic real estate management group? We are seeking a dedicated professional who is proficient in full-cycle accounting and has experience handling multiple properties. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including month-end closings, processing receivables, payroll, and reconciliations. You will also be creating, analyzing, and presenting monthly financials. This is a permanent position that offers a challenging and rewarding work environment, where your expertise and commitment will be valued and rewarded.

Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
Perform month-end closings and prepare monthly financial statements.
Process receivables, including invoice creation, collection, and revenue recognition.
Manage payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment to all employees.
Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
Create, analyze, and present monthly financials to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting.
Collaborate with other departments and team members to support overall goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the real estate sector.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Outlook.
Working knowledge of Yardi and Skyline accounting software is preferrable.
Strong data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors.
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
