Junior Accountant - Create Advertising Group

Job Summary

This position requires critical thinking, problem solving, and resourcefulness with limited supervision. You will need a strong understanding of GAAP accounting, MS Excel, and the ability to quickly adapt and learn new workflows and possess an ability to communicate directly with studio and network clients.

• Preparation of general ledger journal entries.
• Preparation of weekly and month-end reports.
• Accounts Payable
• Assist with client billing and establishing relationships to follow-up on purchase orders and payments. 
• Provide clients and senior management with detailed information on various projects as needed.
• Organize and maintain filing systems.
• Assist with miscellaneous projects and reporting.
• Ability to take on increased responsibility.

Qualifications and Required Experience

• BS in Accounting or Finance and/or at least 1-2 years related experience.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Must be detail oriented, resourceful and extremely organized. 
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks helpful but not required.  Must have experience with accounting software.
• Assertive, outgoing personality capable of speaking in group settings.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• This position is hybrid.
