Job Responsibilities:
- Will learn full cycle accounting for payables and receivable
- Responsible for accounting entries, payables, and general accounting duties.
- Review General Ledger to confirm accurate coding
- Assist in closing entries for financial statements
- Reconcile Prepaids and accruals monthly
- Make Journal entries
- Save support and confirm documentation for closing
- Record incoming wires as needed
- Update accounts receivable statements and tie to general ledger
- Audit billing process with contract review
- prepare and issue monthly invoices
- issuing 1099's
Requirements:
- Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- General Ledger experience required
- Must understand debits, credits, prepaid accounts, and have strong accounts receivable or treasury experience
- Associates degree in Accounting preferred or 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
- ERP experience preferred
