Role: Junior Accountant

Job Responsibilities:  

•  Will learn full cycle accounting for payables and receivable
• Responsible for accounting entries, payables, and general accounting duties.
•  Review General Ledger to confirm accurate coding
•  Assist in closing entries for financial statements
• Reconcile Prepaids and accruals monthly
•  Make Journal entries
• Save support and confirm documentation for closing
• Record incoming wires as needed
• Update accounts receivable statements and tie to general ledger
• Audit billing process with contract review
• prepare and issue monthly invoices
• issuing 1099's

Requirements:

• Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• General Ledger experience required
• Must understand debits, credits, prepaid accounts, and have strong accounts receivable or treasury experience
• Associates degree in Accounting preferred or 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• ERP experience preferred
